RL-1 slips

What this does

The RL-1 is the Quebec slip that goes with the T4. SeroPayroll prints RL-1 employee copies. The RL-1 XML file for Revenu Québec is not available yet.

Steps

1. Enter the Revenu Québec identification number in Settings › Company.
2. Make sure employees who work in Quebec have their province of employment set. See The Employment tab.
3. Go to Year-End and pick the year.
4. Choose RL-1 employee copies.
5. Print the PDF or save it.

If nobody worked in Quebec, or the number is missing, the message says "No RL-1 for {year}: nobody worked in Quebec, or the Revenu Québec identification number is missing."

What is not built

• The RL-1 XML file waits for Revenu Québec's schema and authorization number. The screen says so: "print the copies meanwhile."
• The RLZ-1.S summary is not built.
• The slip number is blank until Revenu Québec assigns the range.

Good to know

• The RL-1 PDF has a field for the authorization number.
• The slips split by province for an employee who moved in or out of Quebec during the year.
• Under a trial licence, the PDF carries the trial mark.
