Cloud add-on: drafts and "Resume where you left off"

What this does

SeroPayroll saves half-finished forms as drafts. With the Cloud add-on, a draft is shared with your other computers. You can start a form on one computer and finish it on another.

Steps

1. Start a form, such as the add-employee wizard. Stop before you save.
2. Wait a few seconds, or leave the screen. The draft is saved, and then synced.
3. On the other computer, open the same screen or record.
4. A box asks "Resume where you left off?". It says who left the changes and when.
5. Choose Resume where you left off or Discard.

Good to know

• Drafts are the only records settled silently when two computers change the same one. The last writer wins.
• A successful save removes the draft everywhere.
• Bank account numbers are never kept in a draft.
• The draft is stored encrypted in the company file.
• The new-company wizard keeps its draft on the computer only.
