What this does

The Transactions tab lists everything that touched one employee, newest first. Each line links to its source.

Read the list

  1. Open the employee and choose the Transactions tab.
  2. Each line is one of: Pay, Deposit, Cheque, Year-to-date entry or Remittance share.
  3. Columns include Period, CPP/QPP, EI, QPIP, Income tax, Other deductions and Employer cost.
  4. Choose a line to open it.

Make a quick report

Quick reports come from one employee's record:

  • Payroll summary
  • Vacation summary
  • Transaction detail
  1. Choose the report at the top of the tab.
  2. Choose PDF or CSV.
  3. Save the file.

The reports cover the current calendar year, 1 January to 31 December. The vacation summary lists each balance movement: opening, accrual, taken, paid out, carried over, forfeited, granted and adjustment. An employee who is not on a time-off policy shows "No vacation ledger: the employee is not on a time-off policy".

Good to know

  • A reversed run and its reversal both appear.
  • A remittance share is the employee's part of withheld CPP, EI and QPIP plus the employer's matching amounts.
  • Under a trial licence, PDFs and CSV files carry the not-for-filing mark. See What a trial cannot do.
  • Company-wide reports are on the Reports screen. See Reports: the list.
