What this does
Maya opens in a panel beside the screen you are on. You can keep working while she answers. Maya reads; she never changes your payroll.
Open and close Maya
- On a computer or tablet, press Ask Maya in the menu on the left. Press it again, or the cross at the top of the panel, to close it.
- On a phone, press the Maya icon at the top of the screen. Maya opens full screen. Press the cross to go back.
The three tabs
- Chat. Type a question in "Ask Maya about payroll…" and press Send. Maya shows the knowledgebase articles that match. With the assistant switched on in Settings › AI, she answers and marks the articles she used. Press an article to open it. What was sent shows the exact text that left this computer.
- Briefings. What needs you in the open company: what is coming up, data to fix and the health score. It is worked out on this computer; nothing is sent.
- Knowledge. Type a few words to find an article. The search runs on this computer.
Good to know
- With the assistant off, or offline, the matching articles are the answer.
- Names and numbers in your question are replaced on this computer before it is sent.
- The conversation stays until you close the app.
