Buy a plan, renew and manage seats

What this does

You buy and renew on the SeroPayroll website. The app opens the right page for you, and the new licence activates on your computer by itself.

Plans

• Accountant plan. Unlimited use for your clients, with soft limits of 250 companies and 1,000 employees per company. It allows 3 computers.
• Employer plans. One company. They come in bands by number of employees. The smaller bands allow 1 computer and the larger bands 2.

Prices are on the SeroPayroll website. The licence is valid for 365 days from the day it is issued.

Buy

1. Sign in.
2. On the licence screen choose Buy a plan. Or, with a trial running, choose Choose a plan on the banner. Or go to Settings › Account and choose Buy or renew.
3. Your browser opens the plans page, already signed in for one visit.
4. Pay.
5. Go back to SeroPayroll. It checks again by itself every 15 seconds for half an hour. You can also choose I have paid: check again.
6. The paid licence activates. You also get an email with the key and a .serokey file as a backup.

Renew

1. About 30 days before the end date, a banner says when your licence expires.
2. Choose Renew. The plans page opens.
3. Pay. The new key reaches the app the next time it checks in, or choose Check in now in Settings › Licence.

Good to know

• The limits on companies and employees are soft. Going over shows a reminder and never stops a payroll you have set up.
• Lost the key email? In Settings › Licence choose Lost your key? Resend.
