Create an account and confirm your email

What this does

Your SeroPayroll account holds your licence and your computers. You sign in with it each time the app locks. Your payroll data is not stored in the account.

Steps

1. Start SeroPayroll. The first screen is Sign in.
2. Choose New to SeroPayroll? Create an account.
3. Fill in Your name, Company, Province or territory, Email and Password.
4. Choose Create account. We send a 6-digit code to your email.
5. Type the code in 6-digit code and choose Confirm.
6. The app signs you in. If the account has a licence, it activates by itself. If not, the licence screen opens. See Start the 14-day free trial or Buy a plan, renew and manage seats.

If the code does not arrive

• Look in your spam folder.
• Choose Send a new code. The code works for 15 minutes, and you get five tries per code.

Forgot your password

1. On Sign in, choose Forgot password?.
2. Enter your account email and choose Send code.
3. Enter the code and a new password, then choose Set password and sign in.

Good to know

• The password needs at least 8 characters, with upper and lower case letters and a number.
• One email can have one account. If it exists, the app says to sign in instead.
• Remember me on this device fills in your email and password on the Sign in screen next time. Use it only on a computer you control.
• The account password is not the company file password. They are separate. See Passwords and the recovery key.
